Olive Skin Aesthetics respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Enquiry form. When you send us a message we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one) and the content of your message. These are emailed directly to the clinic. This website has no database — enquiries are not stored on the web server.
Online bookings. Appointment booking is provided by Cliniko, embedded on our booking page. Information you enter into that booking form is collected by Cliniko under their privacy policy, not through this website.
Analytics. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline, no analytics are loaded.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, request time and browser type, used for security and troubleshooting.
Anti-spam. To limit abuse of the enquiry form we temporarily record a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address with a timestamp. The hash cannot be reversed to identify you and is discarded shortly afterwards.
If you choose to describe a health concern in an enquiry, that is sensitive information under the Privacy Act. We collect it only so we can respond to you, and we ask that you do not send detailed medical history through the website — please raise it during your consultation instead. Clinical records created during treatment are held separately in our practice management system, not on this website, and are governed by our in-clinic privacy practices.
We use a first-party cookie, olive_cookie_consent, to remember your choice about cookies. It lasts 12 months if you accept and 30 days if you decline, and it is set regardless of your choice so we don't ask again on every page.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and similar) to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser, which will make the banner appear again.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Enquiry emails are retained in the clinic's mailbox for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the enquiry. Analytics data is retained according to Google's settings for our account. Rate-limiting hashes are discarded within minutes.
This website is served over HTTPS. Because it holds no database and stores no enquiries on the server, the information exposed through the website itself is limited. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information collected through this website. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within a reasonable period.
