About Monisha
Monisha is an AHPRA-registered dental therapist with over 12 years of experience in dental and oral health, and the founder of SmileWell. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Dental Therapy from the University of Newcastle and a Master of Public Health from the Australian National University, and has completed the Adult Dental Therapy Preparation to Practice program at the University of Melbourne. Monisha's experience spans community dental services, Canberra Hospital and private practice, with particular interests in orthodontics, preventative oral health and dental lasers. She founded SmileWell to combine her experience in oral health with her interest in professional teeth whitening and personalised client care. Through SmileWell, Monisha provides in-chair teeth whitening with a focus on individual suitability, informed decision-making and a comfortable, welcoming experience. Treatments Offered
Essential Glow – Express Whitening
Approximately 40 minutes
A shorter in-chair whitening treatment for clients who are new to whitening or would like an express option. Suitability is assessed before treatment.
Bespoke Full Whitening
Approximately 1–1.5 hours
An in-chair whitening treatment for clients who are assessed as suitable. Treatment generally involves three whitening cycles of approximately 10–12 minutes each. Depending on individual circumstances and suitability, treatment may use 35% hydrogen peroxide or a combination of 35% hydrogen peroxide and 44% carbamide peroxide.
Signature SmileWell
Initial appointment approximately 1–1.5 hours
Bespoke Full Whitening plus a maintenance/top-up appointment within three months, subject to suitability.
Before Your Treatment: All clients undergo an individual suitability assessment before treatment. Whitening is not suitable for everyone and may not be recommended where further dental assessment is required. Whitening results vary between individuals, and existing crowns, veneers and fillings do not whiten in the same way as natural teeth.
